The Chair of FutureBoards Advisory Board, Professor Mervyn E. King, is chair of the King Committee on Corporate Governance for South Africa and an international corporate governance thought leader. The 4th edition of the King Report has been cited as "the most effective summary of the best international practices in corporate governance”. Mervyn E. King is a former judge of the South African Supreme Court and corporate lawyer. Professor King is also Chair Emeritus of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC)

Simon Walker, CBE, is the lead non-executive director of the UK Department for International Trade. He was Director General of the UK Institute of Directors from 2011–2016. His former positions include Communications Secretary to HM Queen Elizabeth II and advisor to former Prime Minister, John Major.

Kai Eide is a retired Norwegian diplomat and former ambassador to  NATO and the OSCE. Eide has served as Special Envoy of the UN Secretary General in Kosovo, as Representative of the UN Secretary-General in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and as State Secretary to the Prime Minister of Norway.
